Ramboda Waterfalls situated on the way to Nuwara Eliya surrounded with endless tea Plantations from Kandy at well known Ramboda Pass. There is more than one waterfall near Ramboda and almost all of them are called Ramboda Falls. You could enjoy the waterfalls from main road or hike of around 30 minutes to the almost top of the falls and watch the huge waterfall offer a stunning, spectacular view.
The hight of the main waterfall is 109 m or 358 ft and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. The formation of the waterfall by Panna Oya river which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya river that one of the sub river of main Mahaweli river. Altitude of the falls is 945 m or 3,100 ft above sea level.
